About Rochester Kink Society (RKS)

RKS is a social organization dedicated to providing a means for BDSM and kink-oriented individuals to network, teach, learn, share, practice and discuss BDSM and related kink. We have proudly served the Rochester area community for over two decades and don't plan on going anywhere any time soon! 2021 is our 25th anniversary!

Rochester Kink Society is a member-run organization for BDSM enthusiasts in Rochester, New York. We are dedicated to promoting an atmosphere of openness, tolerance, safety, and education. We do not discriminate by gender identity, gender expression or sexual orientation. We do not tolerate body or kink shaming on any level. Our goal is to operate our organization on a level of which anyone can learn, practice, or discuss BDSM and related kink and feel safe. We are also one of the few local BDSM organizations that are open to individuals ages 18 and over!

Education and Socializing are our primary goals! We have a wonderful membership with an incredible variety of interests. We have skilled individuals in a number of areas including rope and chain bondage, whips, floggers, wax, electrical devices, fire, and more, and that is just a sliver of the vast interest of the individuals that create our membership. These members, as well as members of communities all over, share their skills and knowledge at regularly scheduled workshops. We have also held special events ranging from parties catering to ageplay community, the pet play community, and we have also had a CFNM party! With the support and interest of the membership behind us, we'd love to organize these events again and branch out to even more unique areas of BDSM! We hold educational events in a variety of forms including discussions, skill shares, and workshops, as well as fun events like fashion shows, pet parties, and more!

In addition, we place a strong emphasis on outreach and community involvement. We can be found yearly at events like Rochester PRIDE and the Rochester Erotic Art Festival. We are renewing our outreach to local colleges and we are proud supports of the Out Alliance. Many of our members, including board members, are Safe Zone trained as well.

Those interested in joining are asked to attend a munch (luncheon) or social so that we can get to know each other. Please see the calendar on our website for munch and social dates. (Special arrangements may be made for those visiting Rochester from distant lands. Please contact us as early as possible if this applies.)
