Do you like to sing? And would you like to sing together with expats in Copenhagen?

Come and join us in founding a new international Choir. Through music, it will provide a unique space for internationals and locals alike to connect, celebrate faith, and support each other. You can be an experienced singer or a first-time chorister, there are no audition required — only an enthusiastic commitment to participating in a reasonably ambitious musical project. Each rehearsal will include a “hygge break,” allowing members to connect and make new friends.

Where? Rehearsals will take place at Eliaskirken in Copenhagen

When? Wednesdays from 7.30 pm to 9 pm. Starting on February 5, 2025.

What? The choir will be a SATB (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass) ensemble, and most songs will have a religious theme. It will perform, at selected Sunday services at Eliaskirken and different occasions throughout the year.

Who? The choir will be part of Folkekirken for Internationals – an English-speaking church community – but it is open to everyone, regardless of belief or nationality.

The choir will be conducted by Roberto Masetti, who has three years of experience as a church choir conductor at San Giovanni Battista in Padua in Italy.
