🎙️ The speakers
Katharina von Bieberstein is a Sustainability Partner at VELUX, focusing on integrating biodiversity considerations into corporate practices. With over 15 years of international experience in environmental law and policy, Katharina has worked with organizations such as the Centre for International Sustainable Development Law (CISDL), Germany’s Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), the UN Environment Programme World Conservation Monitoring Centre (UNEP-WCMC), and the International Centre for Antimicrobial Resistance Solutions (ICARS).
Luise Jochimsen is a Senior Biodiversity Stewardship Specialist at WWF Denmark, where she focuses on corporate biodiversity stewardship initiatives. Her role involves developing and implementing transformative partnerships from understanding footprint, risks, and impacts (with tools like WWF’s Biodiversity and Water Risk Filter), to taking action through strategy & targets, implementing conservation projects on the ground or collective action on value chains or specific scapes/basins.
David Færgeman is a Senior Consultant and biodiversity lead at Nordic Sustainability. He has extensive experience in assisting companies with environmental baseline assessments, strategy development, transition plans, and navigating the sustainability reporting directives stemming from the EU. Before joining Nordic, David worked in the agribusiness sector, with various positions in Denmark and abroad.
